DM Products is a new venture for DM Physiotherapy, a popular physiotherapy clinic based in Nottingham. David has run his clinic (Mapperley Park Clinic) for several years and has been using Pilates to help his clients. He is such a strong believer in the power of Pilates that he has recently opened a new online shop that offers a range of Pilates and physio equipment. For instructors he also offers wholesale pricing.

His prices are very good and he has worked on designing and sourcing the products himself rather than do a deal with a wholesaler and add a mark up.

His Pilates products include gym balls, Pilates mats and foam rollers and the deluxe foam roller is worth a particular mention as it is the first of its kind in the UK. It may not be amongst the cheapest at £30.50 but if you want the best of the best, it is worth it and will last a long time.

If you are an instructor then you will need to fill in an online form to be able to access the wholesale price section on the website but I can inform you that the prices are extremely competitive. You will also benefit from the fact that as it is a new and relatively small company compared to the likes of Physical Company, you will probably receive a higher level of service as they will be keen to impress.

The website itself is not the prettiest but perfectly functional and easy to navigate. The product descriptions are perfectly adequate and the shopping experience is quick and simple..

Delivery times in the UK are 2-5 working days and the postage charge for all orders is £7.50 regardless of volume. Shipments can also be sent within the EU but I do not know the delivery charges for EU orders. Unfortunately, credit/invoice accounts are not being offered to trade customers at this stage but I have been told that this may change in the future. Refunds are accepted but you must inform the company within 7 days and the cost of the Postage and packaging will not be refunded for sending it back. However, the postage and packaging charge of sending to the customer initially will be refunded.

Overall, if you are in the market for Pilates equipment then it is worth checking out DM Products. Being so new they may not spring to mind first but their Pilates products are great quality and priced competitively.

At over £30 the DM Products is one of the pricier foam

rollers on the market however, this foam roller is designed to last. New to the UK market, It is made from EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate!), which is widely used in sports equipment, due to its light weight, lack of odour, and the fact that it can be injection-moulded. In this case, the product is made of a single piece - not two, and so will not fall apart as the basic roller can after extended use. A lower cost foam roller is available also.
